PET

PET, Stands for polyethylene terephthalate, it’s a clear, strong and lightweight plastic belonging to the polyester family.

PET was first synthesized in the U.S. during the mid-1940s by DuPont chemists who were searching for lightweight strong polymers. Researchers found a way to stretch a thin extruded sheet of PET to create PET film, and in this application adds heat resistance, strength, and durability to our panels.
Today PET is one of the world’s most commonly used, versatile and trusted materials.
